The Bridge– An inside look at the people who jump off the Golden Gate Bridge. If this doesn’t convince you to be a bit nicer, I don’t know what will.
Rare Book and Special Collections Division Online (The Library of Congress)– Super-interesting. Old and rare books about traveling the world, slavery, The Wizard of Oz, and just about everything else you can imagine.
Project Gutenburg– before you buy your next classic, see if you can grab it here for free (over 42,000 free ebooks!)
Guggenheim.org– 99+ online art catalogs you can view for free
